The Megger TTR25 is an automatic hand-held battery
operated transformer turns ratio test set.
It is used to measure the turns ratio, excitation
current and polarity of windings in single- and three-phase distribution and
power transformers (tested phase by phase), potential & current
transformers, and tapped transformers.
The unique design of the TTR25 allows the user to
operate the test set while holding it in one hand. It effectively eliminates the
user from having to kneel or bend down to operate the instrument and speeds up
testing time.
Realizing the extreme environments in which the
TTR25 must operate, special attention has been paid to making it extra rugged,
with a high impact, shock resistant case, yet incredibly lightweight at a mere
870 g (1.9 lbs).

The latest TTR available from Megger is the TTR100, a handheld, robust, lightweight and battery operated instrument. This TTR will complement several existing Megger transformer test products and will offer functions, such as winding resistance and polarity. These functions, as well as the phase angle measurement function, can be switched off when not required. With a turn ratio of 20,000:1, the TTR100 offers the highest turns ratio accuracy in the industry of 0.1%. The TTR100 features special software capabilities.
The TTR100 is used to perform final test and calibration of transformers in the manufacturing process, such as a QA or Test Department. Using the new TTR100 in this environment will improve the productivity of such QA testing, as well as efficiently collect and store large amounts of data, which can be uploaded to a PC spreadsheet, or data base program.

The Megger TDR900 is an advanced instrument capable
of measuring cable lengths and finding distance to an open or a short using Time
Domain Reflectometry. It offers exceptional features and a range capability
normally associated with far more expensive instruments. The measurement range
spans from 15 feet (5 m) to 10,000 feet (3 km) with a minimum resolution of 20
inches (50 cm).
The TDR900 can be used for any cable consisting of
at least two insulated metallic elements, one of which may be the sheath or
shield of the cable. The Meter has automatic internal matching networks to allow
testing of 25Ω, 50Ω, 75Ω, 100Ω, 125Ω, or 150Ω cables. (These correspond to
power, telephony, CATV, and LAN cables.)
The Meter can be closely matched to the cable under
test using the menu selection keys. The propagation velocity value can be
similarly adjusted to match the cable under test; thus ensuring an accurate
distance measurement.
The other user adjustable setting is changing the
distance measurement units (feet or meters). The Meter is housed in a rugged
ABS enclosure which is dust and weatherproof to IP 42. The unit also comes with
a soft carrying case and an alligator clip adapter. It is powered by 4 AA (NEDA
15A or NR 6) batteries, which are stored in a compartment on the back of the
Meter. The batteries are held in a carrier for quick and easy
replacement.

Capable of locating long or short ranges, inductive
or conductive, active or passive, the L1070 delivers quick and accurate results
with a user-friendly interface. A special design feature on the L1070 allows the
user to select and compare receiver information on two
frequencies simultaneously, without having to return to the transmitter. The
L1070 features push-button depth measurements up to 15 feet to quickly identify

The L1050 Portable Locator is a one-piece design

frequencies optimizes performance for the specific needs of the user with
accurate long or short range locates. The flexibility of the unit allows high
power operation at low frequency to solve the difficult multi-point ground
utility locating problem. A key operational issue of the L10 is the superior
filtering of the receiver which picks up the transmitted signal easily at wait
height. Operators no longer have to bend at awkward
angles.
