Client manager to organise your
customers
Whether you complete electrical test forms by hand
or use downloading test equipment, the pain of completing forms can be
dramatically reduced by using a software package, and printing your documents.
Results are much quicker, carry fewer errors associated with hand writing, and
are professional in appearance.
Powersuite Professional is the next generation of
Megger software replacing the existing Megger Powersuite packages, designed for
the management of test results from electrical testing and PAT testing,
including client management, automatic form filling and printing.
Pro-Lite PAT and Pro-Lite 16th are the simplest
packages in the Professional range and offer the ideal solution as a cost
effective entry into electrical test software, essential for managing electrical
and PAT test results, with the guarantee that the package can be upgraded as
your requirements expand.

The Megger MCT1605 test set is a lightweight,
robust, portable unit used to automatically or manually perform saturation,
ratio, polarity, demagnetizing tests and insulation tests on current
transformers. The MCT provides a microprocessor controlled variable voltage
output and precision instrumentation for automatically testing single and
multi-ratio CTs. The MCT1605 possesses microprocessor controlled output voltage
with precision instrumentation and storage, reducing testing time and increasing
productivity. The MCT1605 will directly connect to multi ratio CT’s and perform
all three tests – saturation, ratio and polarity – on all taps with the push of
a button and without changing leads. The MCT1605 has a large display, permitting
the user to easily read all pertinent data while the test is being performed and
providing the ability to view the current transformer’s saturation
curve.
Current transformers can be tested in their
equipment configuration, such as being mounted in transformers, oil circuit
breakers or switchgear. It is necessary for the equipment to be completely
isolated from the electrical system prior to testing.
KF875 and KFLAB Karl
Fischer Moisture In Oil Test Sets
Coulometric Karl Fischer titrimetry
KF875 optimized for insulating oil with an SG of
0.875, completely portable
KF-LAB MkII offers greater flexibility,
versatility and sample data input than the KF875; also completely
portable
KF-LAB MkII analyzes materials with an SG between
0.6 & 1.4, plus insulating oils with an SG of 0.875
Over 20 years experience has led to the development
of the Megger KF875 and KF-LAB MkII Coulometric Karl Fischer Test Sets designed
to determine moisture in oil, to provide highly accurate results on-site. The
KF875 and KF-LAB MkII are highly portable instruments, complete with integral
printer and carrying case, are easy to use and provide highly accurate
results.
Optimized for testing insulating oils with a
specific gravity of 0.875, the Megger KF875 simply requires the operator to
press one button and inject a 1ml sample into the test cell. The simple ‘one
touch’ operation makes the KF875 so easy to use that it requires no specialist
knowledge or training to use it effectively. Results are presented on the
instrument display and on the integral printer in both micrograms of water and
in milligrams per kilogram (parts per million, ppm).
The KF-LAB MkII allows the titration of samples
with a range of specific gravities from 0.60 to 1.40 and also permits the use of
different sample sizes. The KF-LAB MkII also has a default setting optimized for
analyzing insulating oils with an SG of 0.875. This means it can be used to
measure water content in a variety of different materials but is also easy to
set up for transformer insulating oils.
Smallest and most rugged Frequency Response
Analyzer (FRA) instrument in the industry
Highest possible repeatability by using reliable
cable practice and high-performance instrumentation
Fulfills all international standards for SFRA
measurements
Highest dynamic range and accuracy in the
industry
Wireless communication and battery operated
Advanced analysis and decision support built into
the software
Imports data from other FRA test
sets
The FRAX 101 Sweep Frequency Response Analyzer
(SFRA) detects potential mechanical and electrical problems that other methods
are unable to detect. Major utilities and service companies have used the FRA
method for more than a decade. The measurement is easy to perform and will
capture a unique “fingerprint” of the transformer. The measurement is compared
to a reference “fingerprint” and gives a direct answer if the mechanical parts
of the transformer are unchanged or not. Deviations indicate geometrical and/or
electrical changes within the transformer.

Megger MIT300 series Insulation tester for electricians
Extremely easy to use • Tough rubber armoured case • Self contained protective cover • Live circuit warning • Weatherproof to IP54 • Intelligent Safety System for protection.
MEGGER INSULATION TESTERS COMBINE SAFETY WITH DURABILITY
Developed, after extensive customer research, specifically to meet the needs of today’s electrical contractors, the new MIT300 range of insulation and continuity testers from Megger is not only durable and easy to use, but also incorporates a comprehensive set of features designed to ensure operator safety, even under conditions of accidental misuse.
The range includes four models, ensuring an exact match for the needs of every user, all of which offer automatic discharge of the circuit after testing, audible and visual warning if the test probes are applied to a live circuit, and a test inhibit feature which operates automatically under live circuit conditions. The units also conform fully to IEC 61010-1 for use in Category III 600V applications, and provide all of the facilities needed to meet insulation testing requirements relating to the current edition of the IEE Wiring Regulations.
In line with other products in Megger’s comprehensive new contractor range, MIT300 insulation testers feature rugged construction, with an impact-resistant rubber-overmoulded case, and innovative circuitry which guarantees high accuracy combined with stability of calibration.
All instruments in the new range provide indication of insulation resistance up to 999Mohms, 200mA continuity testing, a fast-reacting continuity buzzer, and facilities for nulling the resistance of the test leads. The entry-level MIT300 offers insulation test voltages of 250V and 500V, while the remaining models allow testing at 250V, 500V and 1,000V.
In addition to the basic features, the mid-range MIT310 adds a default voltmeter function, while the MIT320 supplements these facilities with an a backlit display, illuminated range panel, insulation limit alarm, resistance measurement, and an adjustable threshold for the continuity buzzer. The MEGIT320 is also supplied with a switched test probe to speed hands free testing.
An illuminated switched test probe is available as an optional extra for use with the MIT320.
The MIT310, MIT320 and MIT330 testers incorporate dual solid-state displays which simultaneously show the test results numerically, and in the form of a moving-arc bar graph that accurately simulates the operation of an analogue meter.
The MIT330 additionally offers the facility to save test results to internal memory. Over 1000 result can be saved on site, and downloaded to a computer when convenient. Data is stored in non-volatile memory, being retained when the instrument is switched off or batteries are exhausted. A Job reference number can be selected for a range of results, allowing separate locations to be tested with the same tester and easily separated when downloaded.
A memory bar graph acts as a ‘Fuel Gauge’ showing how much memory has been used. Test results are downloaded to CSV (Coma Separated Variable) spreadsheets. If certificates or reports are required, the results can be downloaded directly into Megger Powersuite Professional with a range of features for creating professionally finished documentation.
All testers come complete with a full calibration certificate. For users who prefer a true analogue device, however, Megger is offering the MIT310A which has features similar to those of the MIT310, but with a conventional moving-coil meter movement in place of the digital display.
